Abstract: The environmental complications caused by the Green Revolution have been a problem after 1980’s. Since then, Sustainable Development has been a point of
discussion in many meetings about environmental problems. Among natural resources, water became an important element to be analyzed. Taken out of this context, the Basin of Araguari River in Minas Gerais State is the object of this study.
