Abstract
Tendo em vista que o Distrito Industrial Antônio Crepaldi de Presidente Prudente abriga indústrias potencialmente poluidoras e que tal área vem sendo intensamente comprometida por ações antrópicas, o presente trabalho objetiva realizar o diagnóstico ambiental preliminar deste distrito industrial através da identificação e localização das indústrias situadas no mesmo, a partir do levantamento de informações sobre os empreendimentos e sobre o meio físico da área. Para isso, foram utilizadas ferramentas cartográficas para a elaboração de mapas. Tal diagnóstico é de grande importância, pois serve como base para desenvolver um planejamento ambiental da área, visto que o distrito em questão é categorizado como poluente, sendo uma área passível de apresentar constantes impactos ambientais. Palavras-chave: distrito industrial; mapeamento; diagnóstico ambiental.   Abstract In the industrial district Antonio Crepaldi of Presidente Prudente there are potentially polluting industries and that this area has been heavily compromised by human actions. So, the present work aims to accomplish the preliminary environmental assessment of industrial district through the identification and location of the industries by information about the companies and the physical environment of the area. For this, cartographic tools for the elaboration of maps had been used. This diagnosis has great importance, because it serves as a basis for developing environmental planning area, since the district in question is categorized as a pollutant, being an area liable to provide constant environmental impacts.
