Este artigo apresenta a Substituição como Ética na obra Autrement qu’être ou au-delà de l’essence de Emmanuel Levinas. Para tanto, apresentaremos como ele concebe a anterioridade da responsabilidade ilimitada em relação à liberdade, e a ideia de resposta profética como resposta vinda de um passado imemorial. A noção de sujeito doação, vazio de si-mesmo e como suporte do universo substituindo a tudo e a todos fundamenta o objetivo deste artigo. Assim com a intrínseca relação entre as noções de passividade, proximidade, refém, obsessão, perseguição, liberdade finita, sustentar-se-á a tese central do Eu levinasiano: subjetividade única, suporte, insubstituível e ética.Palavras-chave: Autrement qu’être ou au-delà de l’essence. Ética. Responsabilidade. Substituição.AbstractThis article presents the Substitution as Ethics in the title Autrement qu’être ou au-delà de l’essence from Emmanuel Levinas. Therefore will be presented as he understand the anteriority of responsibility unlimited towards to the freedom and the prophetic answer idea as response coming from an immemorial past. The notion of subject-donation, empty from himself and as a support of the universe, substituting everything and everyone base this article. In this manner, as the inherent relation between the notions of passivity, proximity, hostage, obsession, persecution, finite freedom, sustain the thesis of the Self in Levinas: unique subjectivity, support, irreplaceable and ethics.
