Por perceber grande preocupação com a relação presente e futura entre sociedade e natureza, aqui é apontado um modelo de se cultivar arroz de forma a não degradar o meio ambiente, contribuindo, pois, com o desenvolvimento sustentável. Permeando o modelo em epígrafe, suas vantagens são perceptíveis na forma de seu sistema de cultivo, subsistência. Diante de tais preocupações, duas análises foram feitas: a primeira levanta a questão do inadequado uso de irrigação em cultura de arroz e a segunda enfatiza a importância do referido modelo cultural, avaliando a principal várzea do município Porto da Folha/SE como uma “Área de Preservação Permanente” (APP), por exemplo. CULTURE OF RICE BY THE NATURAL CYCLE OF FLOODS: AN ENVIRONMENTAL ANALYSIS Abstract By realizing great concern with the present and future relationship between society and nature, here is a model aimed to cultivate rice in order not to degrade the environment, contributing thus to sustainable development. Permeating the model in epigraph, its benefits are perceived as their system of cultivation, subsistence. Faced with such concerns, two tests were made: the first raises the issue of inappropriate use of irrigation in rice cultivation and the second emphasizes the importance of the cultural model assessing the main meadow of the municipality Porto da Folha/SE as an "Area of Conservation Standing" (ACS), for example.
