O projeto de educação do campo resulta da luta dos trabalhadores rurais pela reforma agrária. A educação do campo busca a quebra de antigos paradigmas da educação para a zona rural, caracterizada por metodologias não adequadas à população do campo e voltadas aos interesses capitalistas. O ensino de Geografia nas escolas do campo objetiva resgatar e cultivar a identidade do homem do campo, possibilitando-lhe uma melhor compreensão do lugar e do mundo onde vive. Portanto, essa pesquisa analisa as contribuições do ensino de Geografia para a educação do campo, apresentando, ao final, algumas propostas de atividades. Palavras-chave: Geografia. Field education seeks to break the old paradigms of education to rural areas, characterized by methodologies not adjusted to the population of the field and directed to the capitalist interests. The Geography teaching in the field schools objectives to rescue and to cultivate the identity of a man's field, offering a better understanding of the place and the world where he lives. Therefore, this research examines the contributions of the Geography teaching to field education, showing some proposals for activities in the end. Keywords: Geography. Geography Teaching.
