Livros didáticos são vistos como importantes elementos da cultura escolar. Neste trabalho, pretende-se ampliar a possibilidade de análise desses materiais, considerando-os como parte do discurso - no sentido proposto por Foucault (2010) - do conhecimento escolar em Geografia. São analisados textos de livros didáticos do Ensino Fundamental recentes, buscando compreender, por meio dos entrelaçamentos discursivos, a constituição desse conhecimento. Lanço este olhar para os textos buscando elementos discursivos que me ajudem a considerar a hipótese de que a abordagem regional dos conteúdos na escola é parte da regularidade do discurso. One of the goals of this research is to enlarge the possibility to develop studies using such materials, considering them as part of school geography´s discourse (Foucault, 2010). The intention is to find out how statements that constitute such discourse build up relationships with one another, considering that, in the course of this process, complex intersections occur with other discourses. We hope to find out some discursive features that can be helpful to consider the hypothesis that the regional approach is part of school geography´s discourse regularity.
