Abstract: São analisados, neste estudo, resultados de capturas de Dynastinae (Coleoptera, Scarabaeidae) fototácticos, através de lâmpada de vapor de mercúrio, em seis localidades do leste e centro-oeste do estado do Paraná, sul do Brasil, em relação à similaridade entre as comunidades. É feita uma abordagem relativa a aspectos paleoclimáticos do Quaternário Superior.Abstract In this study, it is analysed the results of captures of Dynastinae (Coleoptera, Scarabaeidae) phototactics , by using lamps of mercury steam, in six places in the East and Center-West of the state of Paraná, in the south of Brazil, in relation to the similarity among communities. It is developed an approach concerning the paleoclimatic aspects of Upper Quaternary.
