Este trabalho adota um enfoque etnogeográfico e geopolítico, colocando em pauta a emergência de novas territorialidades indígenas na "fronteira" - analisando sua dinâmica interna, interfaces e significados -, e demarcando que o fenômeno vai se acentuando em contraposição às frequentes invasões de territórios no tumultuado espaço subregional da Amazônia Oriental e Meridional, espaço fortemente impactado pelo avanço da fronteira agrícola sobre a floresta equatorial. Discute-se também o papel do Estado na nova conjuntura internacional da globalização, abordando suas adaptações e atualizações no contexto regional - a exemplo da atitude governamental de assumir progressivamente uma política de "discriminação positiva" das sociedades indígenas. A investigação parte de pesquisa bibliográfica, cartográfica e documental (utilizando fontes como a literatura científica disponível e bancos de dados de organizações não-governamentais como o Instituto Socioambiental e o Conselho Indigenista Missionário), acompanhada de contextualização e sistematização das informações. Nesse ambivalente contexto, povos indígenas do tronco Macro-Fê emergem como expoentes de uma dinâmica em curso, de crescentes reinserção e rearticulação política e cultural das comunidades autóctones na Amazônia brasileira (e sul-americana) e áreas contíguas. AbstractIn a geopolitical and ethno-geographical perspective, this paper examines the rising of new indigenous territorialities at the "frontier", analyzing their internal dynamics, interfaces and meanings, and pointing out that the phenomenon occurs and expands as a counterpoint to lasting land invasions in the turbulent southern and estaren Amazonian territories - regional spaces widely affected by an increasing agricultural expansion over the equatorial forest. It also discusses the role of nation-states in the framework of globalization, describing governmental adaptations and innovations in the regional context, such as new 'reverse discrimination' policies progressively developed on behalf og indigenous societies. the study is based on bibliographical, cartographical and documental research, draw from the available scientific literature and non-governmental organizations' databases, including reports from the Instituto Socioambiental and Conselho Indigenista Missionário (Social-Environmental Institute and Missionary Indigenous Council). Subsequent information systematization and contextualization have also been accomplished. It is worth observing that, in this ambivalent context, Brazilian indigenous societies of the Macro-Fê branch emerge as exponents of an unexpected dynamics in progress, in a growing reinsertion, as well as political and cultural re-articulation, of those communities in the Brazilian and South American rain forests and adjacent areas.
