Abstract

O presente artigo apresenta uma técnica alternativa para avaliação da qualidade da água de rios e córregos que tem como principal característica o baixo valor financeiro empregado e a precisão nos resultados. Também faz uso desta técnica para verificar a capacidade de autodepuração do rio Corumbataí no interior do estado de São Paulo, verificando a eficácia da estação de tratamento de esgoto local.

ABSTRACT
This presents article is a technic alternative for assessment of the water quality of rivers and streams whose main characteristic the low financial value employed and accuracy results. It also makes use of this technic to verify the self-purifying capacity of the Corumbataí river, at the São Paulo's countryside, cheking the efficient treatment station of sewerage site.
