A discussão do custo de vida nas cidades amazônicas é insipiente e, considerando sua importância no âmbito das políticas públicas, necessária. O presente artigo trata da temática da cesta básica, um dos indicadores do custo de vida, em sua versão regionalizada e seus desdobramentos considerando os fluxos dos produtos e custo final da cesta nas cidades localizadas ao longo das calhas dos rios Solimões e Amazonas. Os fluxos advindos da circulação dos itens da cesta básica regionalizada entre Manaus e as demais cidades demonstram uma articulação entre estas e o custo revela a sazonalidade na qual está submetido o custo de vida.

ABSTRACT
Discussion around the cost of living in Amazonian urban centers is in its infancy, and considering the importance of this issue in the sphere of public policy, it is a very necessary one. This article deals with the issue of food staples, one of the indicators of the cost of living, in their regionalized version, and their development, considering the flows of products and the final cost of the staples in urban centers located along the banks of the Amazon River. The flows originating from the circulation of regionalized food staples between Manaus and the other urban centers in the region demonstrate an articulation between these centers and their cost reveals the seasonality to which the cost of living in the region is inextricably linked.
