Abstract

A presente pesquisa objetiva conhecer a inserção de con-
teúdos do período técnico-científico-informacional em
Uberlândia, especificamente no que diz respeito à sua ma-
nifestação espacial, isto é, à constituição e expansão do
meio técnico-científico-informacional, cuja ocorrência data
dos anos de 1970. A partir daí, buscou-se também compre-
ender as relações entre esses indicadores modernizantes e
a consolidação do papel regional da referida cidade.
