Resumo
This geoenvironmental study developed at the watershed of the
Ribeirão do Espírito Santo, at municipality of Juiz de Fora, Minas
Gerais State, aimed problematic areas
(susceptibility areas Soil Erosion). Electronic data processing was done through SAGA/UFRJ software, where was prepared a diagnosis study of the main issues at
watershed level was performed. Conventional techniques and methods such as field
surveys, map and Landsat TM image interpretations were used. Thematic maps generated were used to perform an environmental analysis.
