A mobilidade e a migração, inseridas num contexto de globalização, congrega dinâmicas socioespaciais que redimensionam o significado e conteúdo dos lugares e territórios. A migração sul-coreana pode ser lida como exemplo. No Brasil, a migração coreana foi registrada em São Paulo (década de 1960). Os migrantes se dedicaram às atividades agrícolas e industriais, sobretudo do ramo de confecções. Todavia, o maior volume de migrantes no território brasileiro foi notado na segunda década do século XXI, em espaços não tradicionais de atração de migrantes internacionais, a saber, a Região Metropolitana de Fortaleza - RMF. A partir da busca de referenciais teóricos, levantamento de informações, dados secundários e da validação empírica, foi possível constatar que a presença dos migrantes coreanos no Ceará teve como causa principal a instalação de grandes investimentos de capital coreano que por sua vez mobilizaram um contingente de mão-de-obra originária do país em foco. Diante do exposto, o intuito deste texto é compreender a trajetória e as territorialidades da migração coreana no estado do Ceará, do ponto de vista do trabalho da moradia e do lazer. 

Mobility and migration, within a context of globalization, bring together sociospatial dynamics that reshape the meaning and content of places and territories. South Korean migration can be read as an example. In Brazil, the Korean migration was registered in São Paulo (1960s). The migrants were engaged in agricultural and industrial activities, especially in the garment industry. However, the largest volume of migrants in the Brazilian territory was noticed in the second decade of the 21st century, in non-traditional presence areas of international migrants, namely the Metropolitan Region of Fortaleza (RMF). From the search for theoretical references, information collection, secondary data and empirical validation, it was possible to verify that the presence of the Korean migrants in Ceará had as main cause the installation of large investments of Korean capital that in turn mobilized a contingent of from the country in focus. In view of the above, the purpose of this text is to understand the trajectory and territorialities of the Korean migration in the state of Ceará, from the point of view of the work of housing and leisure.
