Justiça espacial e comarcas no estado da Bahia

Resumo

O objetivo deste artigo é o de analisar a relação entre espaço e justiça tomando como referência as comarcas dos novos municípios da Bahia criados a partir da década de 1980. Considerando que o espaço é forma/conteúdo, reflexo e condição para a (in)justiça, conclui-se que a organização e a funcionalidade das comarcas, caracterizadas pela justaposição e sobreposição, são mais exequíveis para alcançar a justiça espacial porque permitem melhor e mais fácil acesso aos serviços jurídicos por parte dos cidadãos.

Abstract

SPATIAL JUSTICE AND COUNTIES IN THE STATE OF BAHIA

The objective of this article is to analyze the relationship between space and justice, taking as reference the counties of the new municipalities of Bahia created in the 1980s. Considering that space is form/content, reflex and condition for (in)justice, it is concluded that the organization and functionality of the counties, characterized by juxtaposition and superposition, are more feasible to achieve spatial justice because it allows better and easier access to legal services by citizens.
