AVALIAÇÃO DA OCUPAÇÃO DOS CONDOMÍNIOS NA BACIA DO RIO SÃO BARTOLOMEU – UM ESTUDO BASEADO EM FERRAMENTAS DE GEOPROCESSAMENTO COMO INSTRUMENTO PARA GESTÃO AMBIENTAL

Resumo

Este trabalho tem como objetivo apresentar e avaliar os procedimentos metodológicos, desenvolvidos com o objetivo de identificar áreas ocupadas de forma irregular na Bacia do Rio São Bartolomeu, situado no Distrito Federal, adotando-se os recursos do Módulo “Model Builder” do Sistema de Informação Geográfica desenvolvido pela empresa americana ESRI – Environmental System Resourch Institute, de forma a demonstrar o potencial da mesma, no processo de melhoria do planejamento e gestão ambiental e de ocupação e uso do solo.

Evaluation of the urban occupation in São Bartolomeu’s watershed - a study based
on geoprocesing tools as an instrument for environmental management
This work aims at the presentation of the results of a methodology developed with the objective to identify busy areas of irregular form in the Basin of São Bartolomeu River, adopting itself the resources of a Geographic Information System for the development of a model capable to identify these busy irregularly areas and in such a way to contribute with the improvement in the management and local planning, consisting in a tool that comes to assist in the planning and fiscalization of the basin .
