- The contemporary tourism is characterized by the search in ways of alternative tourism, in compensation to conventional, like ecotourism. In that perspective this study has as objective to know the characteristics physics of the area of the Cachoeira
da Fumaça, to identify its tourist attractiveness, to analyze the current form of use of the kindred area of suggesting recreational activities, infrastructure and reception equipments for the tourists.
